All drinking-water purification systems need regular maintenance and replacement of consumable parts to maintain their efficiency and good quality of the supplied water.
We reccommend our customers to follow the instructions in the manufacturer's manual.Waterxhome provides also some useful tools for a do-it-yourself maintenance, which sometimes might be essential.
Simply replacing the consumable parts is not enough for a proper functioning of the system, but it needs to be associated with a regular cleaning of the circuits, in order to sanitize the system and remove possible deposits.
For reverse osmosis systems, also in presence of flushing, it is very important to remove the glaze on the membrane and to sterilize the circuits. Moreover we suggest you to pay attention to the risk of microbiological growth, and then sterilize all ducts, especially in microfiltration systems.
